You will probably get a better response if you take some photos and post the frags on the main site.

If I thought that I could bring some things home on the plane with me, I might pick some up while I'm in Boulder next week.

Dont worry about bringing frags on a plane with you. I am sitting in DIA right now with a cooler full of frags. Just carry them on, I have never been asked about them.

Welcome to Frag Outpost. I have always wondered about that as well. I would expect some red tape and a lot of questions. How big of a cooler are you allowed as a carry on?

I carry on a soft sided cooler I bought at Walmart. It fold up and goes in my luggage so I take it everywhere I go just in case I find something I can't live without.

Travelling domestic you shoudl not have a problem, crossing customs would likely be a little tougher. I just put it on the belt and let them xray it. Never been questioned at all. I use the hothands heat packs from WalMart to keep the cooler warm. I have not lost anything yet from travelling.

That is a great idea to carry a fold up cooler with you when you travel. I'll remember that tip for next time.

It works good for me, what ever rooom I have left in the cooler I stuff full of newspaper around the edges to help insulate, then just occasionally stick my hand in the cooler to see what the temperature feels like.

I brought back a bunch of stuff from Denver today from Reef and Pond and Key's Island. Right in the middle of acclimation now. Gonna be a long night I think.

Sure...now you post all this info after I've been back for a week.

Actually, I was pretty busy while I was in Boulder so I doubt I could have had time to visit Peterock. I suppose I could have done a late night thing but we never talked while I was there.

Sorry about that, I just met Peterock yesterday at a store there in Denver. I can already tell I will be doing business with him in the future.

I've never had an issue with travellin with the frags, you might ask more people on here or reef central, I figure worst case scenario is I have to try to baffle them with BS if they do start asking questions.
