Default New Pets

Hi everyone I just got back from Tampa getting my new pets. I got 2 real cuties, they are sugar gliders. They also require alot of patients. Until they accept me as their new mommy. It can take up to a year. When I walk into the room they run and hise in their pouches (Read Beds). They will keep me busy until the tank is ready to set up.

Sugar gliders are cool critters. My girlfriend used to have one several years ago. She used to make some special peanut butter based food for it, but I can't remember the recipe. Did you get a male and a female?

Well speaking of new pets, one of the people on my holiday shopping list asked for live bullfrog tadpoles. (Yes, I know, it is an odd gift request, but...)
So right now I have a tank full of tadpoles. We decided to keep a couple for ourselves.

Those are some cool new pets.

I got 1 male and 1 female. They have started to grump a little less at me for checking on them. I haven't tried to hold one since they came. I read it was best to leave them alone for 2 days to let they get aqquinted with their new home. I was lucky to be able to bring their stuff with me so they at least have some familar stuff.

I believe that they are related to squirrels.
