I have a hard time filling my couple of 80 gig drives and my external 300 gig. 1TB is a huge amount of space.

Wow. I haven't heard the Lacie name since I had a Macintosh like 10 years ago. They are still in business? Do you use a Mac?

When I had a Mac and bought that Lacie drive is was their Jewel series. They were very innovative for the time as they were an external stacking tower of drives. They were in cartriges that would slide in and out of the tower. They were SCSI drives, but not hot-plug
