Default Goldton Aquarium products

Does anyone know what the deal is with these products?
I went to an Asian petstore today for my sister (she has fresh water fish with ich) and was going to get some malachite green and he told me that this was no good, never worked and tried to sell me a Goldton product, I said thanks and continued to browse these goldton products and none of them list ingredients, or if toxic. Does anyone have experience with these products. I didn't buy the ich meds because I didn't know what was in it.

I am no expert with saltwater fish diseases but i do know alot about freshwater (though its been a long time). I've never heard of using malachite for freshwater ich. There is a wide variety of freshwater ich products if you look at drsfostersmith.com. Malachite is not one of them, nor is any product named goldton. I'd stay away from those! Just my HO
