Default Clown Fish

I have a questuion. My female clown keeps fanning my sand with her tail. (who needs sand sifters with a pistol and my fanning clown)She seems to peck at what ever she gets floating from the sand. Is this normal? I feed them every night so I know she isn't starving.

Default fanning clownfish

hi teeka,
sounds to me the female clownfish is fanning her tail due to laying eggs! they do that when they cover them. good luck hope you soon will have baby clowns. they are one of the easiest to breed check this out...http://www.aquarticles.com/articles/...Clownfish.html
