Default freshwater critter question

maybe someone knows by chance?? i have a freshwater 2 gallon tank,i now have 20 baby guppies in it with a sponge filter and some anarcharis from the lps (Petsmart)
any way i was looking at my babies and noticed a new critter that a i didnt put there. its really small and attached to the side of my tank looks kinda like a very small snail? if anyone knows what possible this could be please feel free to let me know.
i also have another 2 gallon tank for breeding my fancy guppies and a 10 gallon tank for the preganant females with a net breeder. with a AQUA TECH power filter 5/15

I'm glad you found someone to help you. Most of us have saltwater tanks,

Were they just the annoying snails you sometimes get when you buy some plants? The ones who multiply like crazy and are almost impossible to get rid of?
