Here is a top down on an acro witht the flash on, not sure of the species though.

Same acro, top down shot with no flash. Had trouble getting a shot that was not in a shadow.

Can you set it on a tripod lookin down? If so then get it and set it like that will help. Also if you want to lighten it up you might be able to increase the exposure of the photo. Slow down the shutter speed of the camera.

My camera is not the best. Wish it had some sort of color balance feature. I don't have a tripod. :rolleyes: I know I need to get one to improve the quality of my photos. Without a tripod, every time I slow the shutter speed I get blurry photos. I gues I should put the beer down first next time. :D
