I just bought a tang and a orange coral do you know the name of the coral it is a softy.

Not sure of the name of the orange coral in the first pic. Can you get a better pic? Tangs eat A LOT. Be sure to feed frequently throughout the day. My purple tang can go through a sheet of nori in a few days, not counting the meaty food that I feed him.

I agree that it is most likely a polyp of some sort but is difficult to tell in the photo. Maybe reefergirl can snap another pic for us.

Congrats on the new additions. What kind of fish is that in the second picture it is very pretty?

The fish in the second pic is a six-line wrasse. They are very cool fish and a good addition to almost any reef. They are constantly on the move searching the rocks for pods to eat. I had on for almost two years until it decided to go carpet surfing one day.

Hi,I couldnt get a better pic of the orange coral but I think it might be baby sun polyops does anyone know where I can find a pic of a baby sun polyop?
