how far back can you cut back a Kenya Tree

I have a lot of kenya Tree on one rock.
My Mushrooms Are invading my xenia so they are trying to get to the same rock as my Kenya trees. I want to cut back my kenya trees to give room to my xenia.
I cut one tree to the stump. ( kinda a prize one) Will it grow back?:(

If so................
I need to cut back more.
What is the best way to frag it?
