Clown Fish

I have a questuion. My female clown keeps fanning my sand with her tail. (who needs sand sifters with a pistol and my fanning clown)She seems to peck at what ever she gets floating from the sand. Is this normal? I feed them every night so I know she isn't starving.

fanning clownfish

hi teeka,
sounds to me the female clownfish is fanning her tail due to laying eggs! they do that when they cover them.:) good luck hope you soon will have baby clowns. they are one of the easiest to breed check this out...http://www.aquarticles.com/articles/...Clownfish.html
