Overflow and fuge WHAT?

2 Attachment(s)
Here are some pics of my DIY overflow and fuge. I needed to be a little creative as my acrylic tank is difficult to work around. 10 Gallon below is pumped up to my main tank, 50 gallon, then overflow to the rear and returns to the fuge.

The overflow is 2" x 16" X 15" .

Wow that's a pretty big overflow. Did you make that out of glass? Great project. Did you have to drill a hole in your stand or were you able to plumb around it?

It's an all acrylic overflow and I did have to cut into the rear of the tank to allow water to overflow. I used an electric dremel with a 1" cutting disc. I cut two hole roughly 2 inches wide and 3/4 inch high. This barely keeps up with the output from my pump.
