Aragonite dust

I added a 20 pound bag of rinsed "Seachem Meridian Oolitic Aragonite" sand to my sump. this clouded the whole tank for 48 hours, getting pretty clear now but the live rocks are covered with a fine dusting of this stuff. Will this be a problem in the long run or will the coraline algae cover it over eventually. I'd rather not dust them off because this will cloud the tank again won't it?

Did you rinse the sand yourself also?

The dust will eventually get moved by pods, fish moving, et cetera.

Yes I did rinse it but it just kept coming so I stopped after about 15 minutes. I guess it wasn't enough :p ...

Yeah you have to do it till the water that seeps out is clear. Usually takes me about a hour to to clear it out.
