Leather won't open

My leather coral hasn't opened since yesterday. I've read somewhere that sometimes they won't open for a few days to a week to shed something other. I'm a bit worried and I checked everything and all is good.

Still hasn't opened yet, I'm not too worried now but I did want to add that as of this morning it looks all glazed over like it was varnished, is this part of the process?

Glazed over how? Like a mucous over it?

Well it looked like high gloss varnished and it shed it yesterday. It's doing just fine now although it was probably fine before that too :p. I guess it's kind of normal to worry about these things when you're new at this stuff....
