1) Stand that i will be using its an acrylic made stand but im using a all glass tank gives more stablity...
2) 90 gallon tank (the white pvc will be a semi closed loop spray bar type setup.
3) 40 gallon breeder refugium that i just finished glueing together.
4) bad pic of the spray bar setup.

Looking good so far. When do you plan on having it completely set up?
Can't wait to see more photos!

1) pics of the 3/4 inch pvc for the spray bar closed loop
2& 3) 2 rubbermaid tubs with all the stock from the 72 bow
4) pic of the dinning room that is now a mess and the wife is getting pissed.

Just curious, but is there any particular reason you are setting up the 90 instead of the 72 bow?
4) pic of the dinning room that is now a mess and the wife is getting pissed.
Well you know what they say..."Forgivness is easier to get than permission." :D

The reason is if you look at the pic of the dinning room the stand the 72 is on is unfinished tried to recreate the wheel and i messed up big time so i am setting up the 90 since it will be a finished project and it gives me a little more room. THE WIFE DOESN'T LIKE THE BOW FRONT TANKS.

You have one sweet tank. How long was the other tank set up?

Well i had the previous tank set up about 1 year. so i just moved everything over including all the sand about 90% of the sand. The whole thing took about 2 weeks to get the tank where you see it at.
i am using all kinds of stuff: daily dose iodine, kalk, coral accel,
feed the tank daily heavy feed for fish and corals.
trying something new here in a few days will be dosing sugar water to see what effects it has on coral growth.
Running 2 250watt 20K MH , 1 96 watt 50/50 p/c and 1 96 watt 10k p/c.

Let us know how the sugar water works out for you. Are you just using regular table sugar and ro water or some type of corn syrup?

i think i am going to try 2 or 3 tablespoons of table sugar since it is eatable and mix that with 2 gallons of RO water. not trying to make the stuff super sweat but want to know that it is being added maybe do it weekly. still reasearching this before i crash my damn tank......

I haven't heard about adding sugar water before but I suppose it makes sense because most corals consume the sugars produced during the photosynthetic process from the algae that lives within them. Maybe try to replicate the type of sugars produced by the zooanthallae. It is an interesting theory. I'll be interested in hearing about your results. How did you come up with the idea?

i was reading the book aquarium corals by eric borneman and it talks about the glucose and photosen. processing and all that stuff i thought that basicaly what is glucose (sugar) why can't i replucate that and besides coral vite is nothing more that apple juice.
